Lab HW

Open up the “Smoking Study Datafile” datafile…
  • Use a factorial ANOVA to assess the following questions…
    • Main Effect 1: Were there differences between women vs. men in attractiveness?
    • Main Effect 2: Were there differences between smokers and non-smokers in attractiveness?
    • Interaction: Was there an interaction between gender and whether or not the person pictured    was smoking    in attractiveness?
  • Create a line graph of the results

Write up your results in a Microsoft Word document that includes…
  • A paragraph describing your findings from the factorial ANOVA.
    • This section should    describe     the two main effects and interaction, along with the appropriate statistics, and reference to Figure 1.
  • On separate pages, include the line graph (with title) as Figure 1.

E-mail this   Microsoft Word document    to    ravillalab@gmail.com    no later than Friday.  You do not need to turn in the SPSS data file or output file.
